I went down and saw jedibuttercup and on the way Sif (my Chrysler Reliant) started to look like she was over heating but didn't get up into the danger zone (just really close.) I went to go home and I wasn't even out of Dallas when she got up into the danger zone and the lights on my car dimmed and the Power loss light came on. I managed to get to a parking lot and call AAA. This was at 11:20 at night. The tow truck got there at about 12:20 but had to drop off some gas to a girl how had run out about 5 miles away before they could take me home. I got home at about 2AM and I have to get up at 7AM for St. Crispin's but I'm too wound up to sleep.

Jedi and I watched Sharpe's Rifles (bad Regency novel come to life complete with magicall healling cock) and episode of the Dresden Files and the Stargate Atlantis. I also introduced her to the Arrogant Worms. More on them latter but I adore their warped Canadian sense of humor.

Grrr.Arrrgh.
So I was going to post about my strange day yesterday last night but we unexplicably lost dail tone. My husband had checked his email and gone to bed. Not twenty minutes latter I go to log on for my usual up till 2:30AM internet connection and we have no dail tone. We call the husband's cell no call going through. We use my cell to call no ring on the home line. Both cells are working but our land line isn't. I call the phone company they test the line and it's inconclusive. We need to check the Network Interface Box but it's 11 oclock at night so Earc refuses untill he gets off work today. Hopefully the problem is on the phone company's end. The phone was back for awhile but then went out again. Now I'm in a coffeehouse with WiFi. I am not amussed.
