I know I've been bad about posting here. I have been mostly keeping up posting Spy Cats stories to agentsofmeow.blogspot.com.

I tried to do NaNoWriMo but failed at 18,000 words. I just had too many meetings and appointments and things to have the mental bandwidth to write more.

Two weeks ago, the hubster and I were watching TV when a Christmas add came on. Conversation ensued and next thing I knew I had a new writing project. It was a Christmas themed project so I knew I had to get right on it. Last night I finished it at 12,400 words. I had been looking at Amazon Kindle e-publishing so I decided to try it with this story. So I'm now e-published. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MT06J54/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482007694&sr=8-1&keywords=Sarah+E.+Y.+Miller

It's a bunch of the lesser known but needed elves doing their thing in the North Pole. There are Astrophysicist elves, Archivist elves, and Tech Support Elves to mention just a few.

Now to write my Yuletide story.
With fifteen minutes left in the day, I still managed to put up today's Spy Cats. http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/05/trains-only-way-to-travel.html

I spent the time I usually write throwing pottery today so I could get an order in the bisque fire on Friday so it can be delivered at June Investiture. Friday's bisque is the last one til June due to events and schedule problems. There will be two gas firings between now and then but tomorrow is the last day to throw new work and I will be gone. I have to trim tomorrow and Thursday to make the Friday deadline.

Someday I want to take this trip https://www.belmond.com/royal-scotsman-train/journeys/4_178282

I'm still coughing and my voice isn't a 100%. I'm also not quite 100% on energy so I've been doing only Zumba and dancing with my friend, though I'm skipping Zumba tonight. I should be up to my full self by Thursday and doing Zumba and fight practice. If I'm not there my be punishment burpees on Friday.
New chapter for Spy Cats is up - http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/04/meanwhile-back-at-ranch.html

I'm holding at 95% better but now Nate has caught it and is staying home from work. I made it to the gym yesterday for yoga instead of bellydance with Mindy. Then I went to Zumba today. Even doing three-quarters effort was more than enough. I got home and my fitbit told me only 1,750 more steps to the 10,000 so after checking on the sick hubby I went for a walk. 16 years I've lived in this house and I've never been to the boat ramp and park less than a half mile away. I got to the top of the hill down to the boat ramp and park and my fitbit told me I'd reached my goal. I turned around since it was getting on toward late twilight and if I went all the way down and up it would be dark before I got home. I will be going back that way soon.

I know. My life is rather boring at the moment. Spy Cats is the most exciting thing going. I've managed 12 weeks straight of posting once a week. I'm deeply impressed with myself over the consistency. I think I have 3 more chapters before this first adventure concludes and I do a series of individual adventures before the next case for those crazy feline Agents of MEOW.
Next chapter now up http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/02/cat-down.html

(The icon is in honor of who I picture when I write Angus MacDougal - Sam Heughan. While yes there are characters in Outlander name Angus and Dougal the main human at MEOW is named after Angus MacGyver and Dougal MacKenzie, the Dougal from Outlander. I just had to get that off my chest somewhere.)

Spy Cats

Feb. 16th, 2016 01:11 am
It's early Tuesday which means I've posted the new Spy Cats. http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/02/nalas-mission.html

This is the seventh instalment and I'm rather chuffed that I've actually managed to be consistent about this. I have another three parts written to post and one partial. I've been finishing a partial story and starting another for each Tuesday in February so I keep a head. I'm so happy at the story and where it is going that I can't wait to share it each week.

In the My Peak Challenge news, I've added the MPC workouts to the bellydancing and Zumba on the Tuesday evenings I don't have meetings. Today's workout involved push ups and bat wing pulls. My wing muscles hurt. Then I came home and threw pottery for an hour which used those same muscles. Ouch! Not my smartest move but I think I'm getting stronger.

All in all 2016 is shaping up to be a year of massive self improvement. Now to get further along with the learning of Welsh and I'll be golden.
Well it is Tuesday here on the West Coast and that means I've posted the next Spy Cats chapter.
http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/02/alexs-mission.html
I know I'm boring with nothing but links to my story but really, there is nothing interesting going on but the story.
The next Spy Cats entry is up. It's called "A Mission Briefing" http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/01/a-mission-briefing.html (I'm leaving the inelegant link since my HTML fu has been weak lately.)
I've posted the next bit of Spy Cats a day early. "Agents of MEOW"
http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com
I know I've been a bad friend not checking in here at all really for the last year. In the last couple months Nala, our youngest Feline Home Companion has had some serious health issues that had her have to have a feeding tube for a couple weeks and then left the Hubby and I to spend November and December to plead with a reluctant cat to eat. (That is a sight, two Two Hundred something pound humans on the bed trying to coax a seven and a half pound cat to eat. Wet food, kibble, tasty chicken bits, anything but for the love of God, cat eat something!)

Anyway I'm a perverse person and decided that it wasn't a feeding tube but a laser beam. Then I said to myself, why would a cat have a laser beam? Well because she's a spy. Then I began writing some original fiction pieces along that idea.

Tonight I launched a new blog to put the stories up weekly. http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/ So here is my crazy brain at work. Cute, cuddly, deadly feline spies. So that is what I've been up to. I hope y'all had a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
I gave up half way through the month. Apparently I hate writing prose longer than 5,000 words. I missed my screenwriting software too much and fighting the urge to use its unique commands in Word just drove me bonkers. I did how ever write more than 13,000 words on the novelization of the Zephyr Adventure. I will probably finish it some day.

Last night though, I was going to bed when the opening paragraphs to another story entered my head. I couldn't sleep until I wrote it and I ended up with over 500 words in a half hour. This I think will shape up into a short story - The Tinker's Holiday. That's right a Steampunk Christmas story. Would y'all read it if I posted it in chunks as I write it?
Now that the Van Con is over it is time to get sefrious about my Script Frenzy scripts. I have decieded to do a Bones episode called, "The Fangirl at the Con". So now I need to invent a Fandom for which there is a Con.

I have called the show "Vampires Anonymous" and it ran for nine episodes before being cancelled on released on DVD. I woiuld like to mix elements of Angel the Series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, and bonous points for any Stargate elements. This is where you guys come in pitch out your ideas. I won't garuntee I use any of them but it might spark ideas for me. (And since this is the 8th of April I should be on page 24-32 of my scripts. I'm not even a quarter the way down page one so I really need to catch up.)
