I have lost my frigging mind an have decided to try to make a queen sized quilt (at least top and backing) every other month this year. I'll have to pay to have someone quilt them for me since I can barely get a twin sized through my machine and my quilting is not that great. I will probably make a few lap sized ones as well.
To that end I have acquired 40-50 yards of fabric in the last 8 days. Most of it Christmas fabric. I plan on giving at least three of the six quilts as Christmas gifts. (One to my Parents, one to Mom's Parents, and one to Dad's Mom.) I'll post pictures here when the tops are completed. (I can only post here since Mom reads all my other social media and other blogs).
I've started the first quilt - a Christmas Log Cabin. I'm 1/4 the way done with the 48 blocks.

Jun. 28th, 2013 12:31 amI know it's been since January since I updated. Life has been kicking my but for the last month and a half. Before that I haven't been doing much writing particularly fanfic and this journal was largely for my fanfic. I am most assuredly alive and might get back to writing one of these days.
