Day 06- A Photo that evokes a color.
(It must be said that I had to be the one taking the photos so I can't be the one in the photo.)



I'm going with the three primary colors-

Red

The Painted Hills in the Petrified Forest National Park, Arizona- July 2013


Yellow

The leaves along Six Mile Canyon Road between Highway 50 and Virginia City, Nevada - October 2013


Blue

The Oregon Coast at Depoe Bay - May 2014

Thanks. The first two take some driving to get to( though if you flew to Reno the drive to Virginia City wouldn't be bad but the expierence is enhanced by the drive of Highway 50- America's Loneliest Road) but Depoe Bay is about an hour and a half out of Portland but there are a lot of major towns along the way so it doesn't seem so far from civilization.

Mine too. Though the Shoe Tree is also a favorite. Highway 50 might have been lonely but it sure was pretty.=)

I love all of these - I think, perhaps, yellow even more than the other two.

The yellow is one of my favorites as well. I have several from along that road. It was taken from a moving car and we managed to get there at magic hour when the sun was in the right spot. It was really pretty and the weather was about perfect and as it was late October the trees had turned. I think we lucked out.
