My paternal Grandma and Grandpa and my Dad. Grandpa passed away less than a year after this. I know I'm lucky, I was in my thirties before any of my Grandparents passed away and I grew up with both sets living in the Portland Metro area where I live. (Until I was in my late teens I even had a set of Great Grandparents living in the local area.) Wet Linn, Oregon May 2008
My Mother. I just love this photo though it is a bit out of focus. Willsonville, Oregon- May 2013
My Maternal Grandparents. They aren't doing so well. In fact they've moved into a retirement home and spent their anniversary this year (their 66th) in the hospital. Grandma had had a pace maker put in the day before and Grandpa went in on their anniversary for an angiogram. This picture however was on Christmas Eve, Grandma serving Grandpa Bouliabaise (our traditional Christmas Eve meal.) Willsonville, Oregon - December 2013
