I've started many and they are in various stages of completion. But I have actually finished a quilt. Yes it is a small wall hanging but it is nice to see finished results.
I just fell in love with the fabric in the chain (as opposed to the border and background fabrics with I just like but look so pretty with the chain fabric.) I love pastel colors so of course this is the one I finish.=)
The Irish Chain patern isn't that hard. Because I use a rotary cutter (A round razor blade on a handle)it just involves cutting strips of fabric and sewing them togeather and then cutting those into strips to create blocks and the sewing the blocks to blocks of plain fabric. Thye hardest part it the actual quilting on the machine to get straight diagonal lines.
