HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Dec. 31st, 2008 09:55 pmI fail at Holiday Greetings this year, so I thought I'd wish you all a happy new year a few hours early.
My resolution is to get those Christmas Cards out in the mail on Friday. I know their late but hopefully most of them will arrive before the 12th day of Christmas on January 5.
Looking back on 2008, it was a mostly good year. I met and made some new friends. I was able to meet a few of my wonderful f-list in person. I made it to my first ever Con. So from a fannish point of view it was a great year.
But for my SCA life it was a lousy year. We lost Ciaran in July and I found out recently we lost another Herald on December 21. I knew Baron David of Moffat but not well. He will be greatly missed.
As for the pottery stuff, we managed to sell some stuff but not nearly enough. We did however get the web site up and running- http://www.thistillium.com/.
I hope 2009 is better all around.
