With fifteen minutes left in the day, I still managed to put up today's Spy Cats. http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/05/trains-only-way-to-travel.html

I spent the time I usually write throwing pottery today so I could get an order in the bisque fire on Friday so it can be delivered at June Investiture. Friday's bisque is the last one til June due to events and schedule problems. There will be two gas firings between now and then but tomorrow is the last day to throw new work and I will be gone. I have to trim tomorrow and Thursday to make the Friday deadline.

Someday I want to take this trip https://www.belmond.com/royal-scotsman-train/journeys/4_178282

I'm still coughing and my voice isn't a 100%. I'm also not quite 100% on energy so I've been doing only Zumba and dancing with my friend, though I'm skipping Zumba tonight. I should be up to my full self by Thursday and doing Zumba and fight practice. If I'm not there my be punishment burpees on Friday.
New chapter for Spy Cats is up - http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/04/meanwhile-back-at-ranch.html

I'm holding at 95% better but now Nate has caught it and is staying home from work. I made it to the gym yesterday for yoga instead of bellydance with Mindy. Then I went to Zumba today. Even doing three-quarters effort was more than enough. I got home and my fitbit told me only 1,750 more steps to the 10,000 so after checking on the sick hubby I went for a walk. 16 years I've lived in this house and I've never been to the boat ramp and park less than a half mile away. I got to the top of the hill down to the boat ramp and park and my fitbit told me I'd reached my goal. I turned around since it was getting on toward late twilight and if I went all the way down and up it would be dark before I got home. I will be going back that way soon.

I know. My life is rather boring at the moment. Spy Cats is the most exciting thing going. I've managed 12 weeks straight of posting once a week. I'm deeply impressed with myself over the consistency. I think I have 3 more chapters before this first adventure concludes and I do a series of individual adventures before the next case for those crazy feline Agents of MEOW.
http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/03/liz-to-rescue.html

Also [livejournal.com profile] earcmacfithil and I have talked about my Spy Cats world. He is willing to believe that cats will willingly parachute into the Thames but has a problem with cats having bank accounts. Then I say things like they have investment portfolios and retirement accounts and he nearly falls out of his chair laughing. I don't know why this rather than the idea that I need to specify that Angus changes into a flightsuit so he doesn't parachute, tandem with a cat mind, in a kilt makes the hubby lose his mind. But there you have it. The Millers discuss the financial capabilities of felines and dudes parachuting in kilts. (Along with what crazy exercise has been added to the workout now. We have a crazy amount of conversations about working out. We're in great danger of becoming THOSE people which I never wanted to be and actively sort of dislike- life revolves aroud the gym and how many reps we did and how many Burpees one can do in a minute. I hang my head in shame.)
Next chapter now up http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/02/cat-down.html

(The icon is in honor of who I picture when I write Angus MacDougal - Sam Heughan. While yes there are characters in Outlander name Angus and Dougal the main human at MEOW is named after Angus MacGyver and Dougal MacKenzie, the Dougal from Outlander. I just had to get that off my chest somewhere.)

Spy Cats

Feb. 16th, 2016 01:11 am
It's early Tuesday which means I've posted the new Spy Cats. http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/02/nalas-mission.html

This is the seventh instalment and I'm rather chuffed that I've actually managed to be consistent about this. I have another three parts written to post and one partial. I've been finishing a partial story and starting another for each Tuesday in February so I keep a head. I'm so happy at the story and where it is going that I can't wait to share it each week.

In the My Peak Challenge news, I've added the MPC workouts to the bellydancing and Zumba on the Tuesday evenings I don't have meetings. Today's workout involved push ups and bat wing pulls. My wing muscles hurt. Then I came home and threw pottery for an hour which used those same muscles. Ouch! Not my smartest move but I think I'm getting stronger.

All in all 2016 is shaping up to be a year of massive self improvement. Now to get further along with the learning of Welsh and I'll be golden.
Well it is Tuesday here on the West Coast and that means I've posted the next Spy Cats chapter.
http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/02/alexs-mission.html
I know I'm boring with nothing but links to my story but really, there is nothing interesting going on but the story.
The next Spy Cats entry is up. It's called "A Mission Briefing" http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/2016/01/a-mission-briefing.html (I'm leaving the inelegant link since my HTML fu has been weak lately.)
I've posted the next bit of Spy Cats a day early. "Agents of MEOW"
http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com
I know I've been a bad friend not checking in here at all really for the last year. In the last couple months Nala, our youngest Feline Home Companion has had some serious health issues that had her have to have a feeding tube for a couple weeks and then left the Hubby and I to spend November and December to plead with a reluctant cat to eat. (That is a sight, two Two Hundred something pound humans on the bed trying to coax a seven and a half pound cat to eat. Wet food, kibble, tasty chicken bits, anything but for the love of God, cat eat something!)

Anyway I'm a perverse person and decided that it wasn't a feeding tube but a laser beam. Then I said to myself, why would a cat have a laser beam? Well because she's a spy. Then I began writing some original fiction pieces along that idea.

Tonight I launched a new blog to put the stories up weekly. http://agentsofmeow.blogspot.com/ So here is my crazy brain at work. Cute, cuddly, deadly feline spies. So that is what I've been up to. I hope y'all had a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
For Yuletide I received a lovely Forever fic "Falling, So Much Like Stars" by the lovely ArgylePirateWD. I nice Henry and Jo finally getting together with Abe helping them out. It is so romantic and fluffy. Just the way I like my Forever fic.

This Yuletide I wrote in a Fandom I hadn't before - Elementary.
The Airing of Grievances" A gen fic from Clyde the Tortoise's POV about life in the brownstone and how he'd really like something other than bland lettuce to eat. This little bit of fun anthropomorphic nonsense has surprised me with numbers of hits, kudos, and comments. I thought it was a fun story biut wasn't expecting that response.
I love a good cheesey Christmas movie. Things like Under the Mistletoe, The Christmas Card, and more recently A Princess for Christmas. They're heartwarming and mushy and everything I love about Christmas. Of the three I mentioned the seemingly least cheesey is A Princess For Christmas. I usually watch them when I watch down an Actor's or Actress's filmography. (when I find a new fandom I usually watch the leads' filmography. I find some great movies and some regrettable ones and then the cheesey ones that way.) I watched Under the Mistletoe for Michael Shanks, The Christmas Card for Alice Evans, and A Princess For Christmas for Sam Heughan.

What are your favorite cheesey Christmas Movies?
I'm getting ready to do my Christmas Cards, so who'd like one?
Leave me your address in the screened comments (even if you have before) so I can send you one.

I've fallen for the tv show Forever and it finally brought me back to writing fic after battling mild depression due to losing a position in my hobby to someone else. (Story for another time under an F-lock) Anyway not much writing of any kind since the news at the end of August so this is progress.
