More than meets the eye.

earcmacfithil and I really do live in small town America. We just got back at 2:45Am from the Drive In Movie theater. Tonights double feature was Sherk the Third and Transformers. I thuroughly enoyed both. Neither were really high brow entertainment but both were just good fun. In Transformers almost everything got blown up, so earcmacfithil thought it was really good.

When we got home there was a dog wondering around lose dragging his leash, no human in sight. He came and started barking butearcmacfithil being the good hubby he is stood between me and the evil canine. If it wasn't almost 3AM I would have had earcmacfithil call animal control because that ain't right.


While waiting for the movies to start, earcmacfithil was in line at the snack bar so I started a Daniel/Vala fic. I had Vala asking about drive ins on the theory that during Bounty Mitchell and his friend would have mentioned them but not explained because that would open Vala up for the "What planet did you grow up on?" question so she asked Daniel. I wanted to know if there were any drive ins near Chyenne Mountain so not having internet access at the drive in I call jedibuttercup and within two minutes she has a website for me to look up later and has map quested the results to tell me which would be closest to Colorado Springs. jedibuttercup has mad research skillz.

Thank you very much!....am having a very nice day so far....and for the first time in nearly 2 weeks the sun is out and it's not raining!!!

I like explosions!!! I think I could just about count on one hand the number of scenes in which something *wasn't* destroyed, explosively or not. This movie totally ranks an A in my book!
