Odd Day

So I got 3.5 hours of sleep. I had be up in time to go with earcmacfithil to the Portland Convention Center for the Oregon Potter's Association Ceramic Showcase. I had to go drop him off so I could have Thor (our yellow pickup truck) today. I needed Thor so I can go to jedibuttercup's tonight to watch the Stargates. (I am so looking forward to The Shroud.) I had to stop by Costco to get toothpaste. Got there at 9:58AM to see a bunch of people waiting for it to open to Executive Members at 10. Fortunantely Earc and I have an executive membership but that was one of the perks of the Executive membership I never thought to use. It is just sort of odd.

Oh scifi_tv_addict made me some lovely signiture banners for GateWorld yesterday.

I had a hard time choosing but finally settled on using the last one first as it is perfect for me. Crazy!Daniel and Michael Shanks with a sword and a Shakespeare quote pretty much sums me up (at least as far as GateWorld is concerned.) Thanks Stef.=)

Sleep that elusive thing......

Loved the banner, the 2nd one had me giggling! And the 1st one pretty much sums up want I feel my mental state is most of the time. Hee! Stef rocks for making such awesome stuff.

Sleep? yeah. I don't remember the last time I got 8 uninterupted hours. (I get woken up to telemarketers, the hubby handing me my reclusive cat or kissing byebye, his alarm clock or having to go bathroom or the phone or . . . ) At least I have time for a nap this afternoon.

The second one is a take off on my favorite Demtionvational poster I made
and the line is a takeoff on Obi Wan Kenobi's comment about Light Sabers in A New Hope.

The first describes my mental state too.

It seems I'm getting more sleep than you, but I still feel utterly awful... meh. There better be no dreams in my sleep tonight!

How great is Costco? My friend has a membership there and we do booze runs for parties. Makes life so much cheaper. We were considering selling it on for less than the shops sell it and make a profit on it. And I'll stop rambling over your LJ now :)

Love Costco. Haven't bought booze there. (Don't really drink much so i don't need a Costco quantity unless they sell Vanilla Rum which they don't.)=)

Very nice banners! :) I've seen some of Stef's work, mostly Cam/Vala, Sam/Vala, Tomin/Vala... She's great with that stuff.
