I managed to finnish Stargate SG1 season 9 last night. For those of you keeping track that maeans I've watched the entire SG1 saga on DVD in just a few days over one month. I'm starting over to watch for nuances because the first time was just to get through the story. I am a deeply disturbed woman because as I type this I'm downloading episode 10.1 from iTunes because the last episode of season 9 was a cliff hanger and I can't leave it there.

Not yet. (The DVD's aren't at Costco yet.) jedibuttercup has made me watch the most recent four or five but so far I'm not as into it. I hope to get seasons 1 and 2 for Christmas though.=)

Oddly - I think it is sometimes one or the other with people. Atlantis is my Stargate of choice but I enjoy SG1. :D

You do much scriptwriting or will this be your first forray? I can never decide if I think it would be great fun or if I prefer more static writing forms where other people don't muck about with your words. :P

I've made one attempt but haven't submitted it (for Bones.) I come from a theatre background so I actually prefer acting to writting. jedibuttercup thinks I actually write scripts better.

Someday I'd like to give it a whirl...my biggest struggle in writing is that sometimes I see things so clearly and then struggle to capture that mental image on paper. Maybe striving to recreate the image would make a nice change.

Best of luck with that! Sounds very exciting (and like quite a bit of work, but still exciting!).
