So [livejournal.com profile] earcmacfithil and I are discussing what to do next year for our tenth wedding anniversary. The front runner is a two week trip to Europe. Hopefully something like five days in London, two in Stratford-upon-the-Avon, five in Paris, and two in Norway visiting his friends there. The question is for those of you on my F-List in and around London. Earc is a gardener and spends way too much time examining plants that I see as pretty and move on. He wants to go to Q gardens and I'd be extremly bored. So for you in and around London, would it be possible to spend that day hanging out? This would be next Semptember. Right now this is just in the hypothetical stage but wouldn't it be fun?

As someone who spent most of my three days in London in the British National Museums*, I'm probably not of much help.

Of course, I was only 13 at the time. If I had the opportunity again, I'd probably either spend the day in a pub chatting with the locals, or doing a BBCAmerica tour and trying to find locations for episodes of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

I have been to London before, when I was sixteen I went with my Mother. We didn't get to the muesums but did the tea at the Savoy, the Tower, a play on the West End and stuff. I want to do that and I will need to go to the V&A as they have the drinking jug I've been trying to reproduce for five years now and have only seen one bleeping picture so I have to find the bleeping thing. I know of plenty of things to do in London.
