I've had a day.

I went down to jedibuttercup's obstensably to take pictures of Brutheiel and watch some recorded episodes of tv. Well I forgot the digital camera so no kitten pictures. But I did watch my first episode of Stargate. (Episode 200 for those interested.) I found it fun though I didn't get probably half of it but I will eventually. Then we watched the episode Stargate Atlantis that was very much like the Buffy episode "Normal Again". It was kind of fun and the boys were pretty. Then I forced jedibuttercup to watch the "Man in the Fallout Shellter" episode of Bones. (For those keeping track at home that is my favorate episode of the first season.) She laughed in all the right places and sniffed apporpriately, and agreed that sometimes Brennan should keep her mouth shut aboutt somethings.(Like Booth having a kid out of wedlock.)

jedibuttercup made me a DVD of some fanvids and so far all but the "Another Train" Daniel Jackson one have played well on Serenity (we named the laptop after a certain Firefly class ship.) The song for that vid plays and I like the song so it is ok. (oh yeah, jedibuttercup, I'll put those photos up this afternoon so they'll be ready when you get home. If you're still up, go to bed.)

I get home at about 1AM and find the husband, earcmacfithil, has unloaded Vera Verasdottir (the propane kiln) and he over fired it yesterday but got good reduction and nothing stuck to shelves so all is good. Some colors look off if you know what you're looking at. But we actually got purple, so YAY! My pocerlain looks even glassier and pretty.

We actually have three: Vera (a converted oil drum), the previously mentioned Vera Verasdottir, and the Veragamma (a miniture anagamma wood fire kiln.) All three were named after the Vera in the icon. We thought about naming the kiln Serenity instead of Vera but we figured that the kln wasn't very serene with flame shouting out of it at 2381F so it was named Vera. The laptop computer got named Serenity. Then as we added kilns we found veriations on Vera for them.=)

ooh. Stargate Atlantis... *drool* the bad guys are soooo bad. i can't wait for season 2 to come out on dvd!

I've only seen the one episode but look forward to starting it when I reach the timeline as I watch the DVDs starting in October.
