So earcmacfithil got home from a two day pottery show where he sold a grand total of $18 worth of stuff. But he staid over at his brother, cougon's place. cougon had gotten me the Michael Shanks movie Under the Mistletoe for my birthday but hadn't actually gotten it to me till now. I made earcmacfithil watch it with me and he admitted to liking it despite himself. The movie made me insanly happy and giggly.

Now we come to the truely crazy part. Over at www.tthfanfic.com there is this round robin story (where anyone who wants to can add a chapter from any fandom they wish) that is the Harris Family Reunion. So I added a 200+ word short chapter that crossed Under the Mistletoe with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Crazy I know. ETA: The part Shanks plays is Kevin Harrison Doh. How perfect that I made him xander's cousin. Because Harrison means son of Henry and Harris is a form of Henry according to the Oxford Dictionary of English Surnames by P.H.Reaney and R.M. Wilson. (yes I have said book just sitting around the house.)
