I went down to [livejournal.com profile] jedibuttercup's last night (in the wind and rain. It was raining so much to quote [livejournal.com profile] jedibuttercup, from her fic Moonfall, "the water falling from the sky-- which was more lions and wolves at this stage than anything as prosaic as cats and dogs".)

She had down loaded some stuff for me and backed it up to CD rom for me. (She has a faster connection.)

So one of the things was episode 10.3 "The Pegasus Project" from iTunes. Can I just say "Squeeeee!!!!!"? I love the Daniel/Vala interaction so very much. Has anyone ever noticed that Daniel manhandles Vala? He never really touches anyone (except his teammates and Janet and even them he does so rarely.) and every episode he has his hands on her in every other scene or so. Vala keeps calling him endearments and her lets her.

I really love the fact that they kill three birds with two nukes. That was just great.

In other news, the fic(Sam/Daniel marriage fic) that will not end is at 83k right now. (I'd give a word count but unfotunantly I've lost Word on this computer so no word count but the last I checked it was around 10,000 words and that was at least 13k ago.) I think I've past the halfway point now. I scare myself sometimes.

Also for some unknown reason I'm feeling extra bouncy tonight. I can't stop bouncing and giggling. I shouldn't be since [livejournal.com profile] earcmacfithil is leaving tomarrow afternoon to go camping with friends in the mountains above Reno, NV. He and at least one other guy is flying from PDX to Reno wheere they'll meet up with the others. This is a bachelor party for [livejournal.com profile] earcmacfithil's best friend from high school. Why anyone would want to camp in the snow, I have no idea. I'm going to be alone with the cats till late Sunday night. I'm not looking forward to it.

Because its FUN!!!

at least if you have a water resistant sleeping bag. Otherwise, it can be damned cold and uncomfortable. **brrr** But, even then, the crisp morning air, coffee or hot chocolate over a roaring campfire, the sunrise and sunset over the snow... they just rock. :)

You are just as crazy as he is. Doesn't sound fun to me, just cold.

Actually, it's both! Kitty, I think you'll remember that time a bunch of us went up igloo camping in the Cascades. It was fun, but holy schneikes was I cold at night! Of course, it could have had something to do with the fact that I'd neglected to bring a foam pad. Apparently there are only a few inches where we're going, so it should be no big deal. And we'll be doing a bonfire, so there will be much uncontained heat!
