maevebranSorry about no posts the last couple days. I'm traveling and my internet and time for it have been spotty.
30 Day Photo Meme - Day 21 Photos of special moments for friends and families.
Since I married Nate I've been to his Mother's wedding (no photos as those were on film) and his Grandmother's wedding. (Really what do you wear to your Grandmother-In-Law's wedding. It was a thing.) The above is my Grandmother - In - Law and my Step Grandfather- In- Law (that just sounds weird but true.) Lebanon, Oregon - November 2012
While Nate's relationship (or lack of one) with his Father was complicated, the military funeral was something special. Father- In - Law was in the Navy and one of the Navy men in front is carrying the urn Nate made with the Father- In- Law's ashes while the other carries the flag. We hadn't seen or heard from Father- In - Law in over a decade but we made sure he was put to rest with all the honors he was due. It seemed the right thing to do. Dallas, Texas- June 2013
My little cousin (she's eight and a half years younger than me) got married two days after my birthday this year. He's a great guy and fits into the family well. Canby, Oregon- May 31, 2014
