I have a new Fandom

How much do I love Boston Legal? Muchly. Prior to watching the first episode Monday, the only thing I had seen James Spader in was the original Stargate movie. Alan Shore is as different from Dr. Daniel Jackson as you can get. Shore is smarmy and a skirt chaser. I didn't want to like him but I do. He gets the job done when the normal channels don't work. That and he is trying to out Kirk Kirk. Shattner's character is also Kirking. It strange that their friendship is the center of the show and it is really cool. Also Alan Shore is put into some of the most rediculous costumes. Shore also talks somewhat fast and with his hands. (I'd dearly love to see Shanks and Spader try to out talk and out gesture each other. Who could actually out Spader whom?)

I'm already through season one and am on the third of seven discs of season two.
