Joy and Happiness

In an effort to reduce stress and sadness, I ask, what is giving you joy or making you happy right now?

(I think we all need a little joy and happiness right now.)

For me, well it is shallow but Christian Bale movies are making me happy.

what gives me joy:
Looking at my bunnies in the back yard
seeing my boys play together
getting a big hug from my teen daughter
and feeling the love and care of friends and fellow hussies

ok it's all very standard ect, but that's the way it is :D

Nothing wrong with standard stuff making you happy.=) In fact that is probabaly best as it can bring happiness everyday.

The beach is always nice. Particularly in the summer.

For me, I just met a nice guy who is very good to talk to. We are just friends at this point, but we have a lot of things in common. We're both SG-1 fans, which is cool. I don't know where this is going to go, as I don't have much luck with relationships. But for now he is a good friend and a nice person to talk to :)

Watching the sun set (or rise) over the mountains.....nature is unstoppable and ever changing.....it soothes any worries I have.....

Thank you, both, so much. I'm ok right now but the weekend after next is going to be really hard. It is one of our Medieval events and Ciaran was our legal representative so much stuff is being parceled out to others and making more work and stress for us all. I agreed to host the Wake that saturday night and that is going to be hard.

Crafts! And more crafts! And having all the right tools (sharp scissors, rotary cutters, and big 'ol cutting board) for crafts! And getting them for 40% off at Jo-Ann's!
I love making things. It always makes me happy, although my husband just sort of smiles and nods and occassionally pretends to be interested. :}

Oh, and we're going camping in a couple of weeks (but someone else is organizing, which makes it Way better.) And my neice's b-day party is on Saturday, plus there are fireworks in Newberg.
And there are two happy weddings coming up.
And my house will be clean when I get home because my dear dear friend the housecleaner (who is also one of the brides) came today!

Nappy does the same thing, although I can occaisionally get him to comment if he thinks these two fabrics look ok togeather or not.

Are you going to be in town for the Old Fasioned Festival then? The art show Nappy runs will be open until 5pm at the community center on 2nd and Howard if you get a chance.

doing prompts on the 5 things community always makes be happy. even thought the writing of them causes me stress, it's the reveal day & feedback that helps.

My current sculpture. I've been taking a sculpture class, and the first one, bad all around. Take two of the pose (live model) - perfectly good anatomy study, terrible terrible art piece. This one (new pose), though, is so much more right. Sure, I've purposefully exaggerated the pose and the motion and her hips and joints, but it looks like her now and the pose looks like a pose instead of a flat hunk of clay.
